Isaiah 57:14>And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, PREPARE THE WAY, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my people.

Isaiah 62:10>Go through, go through the gates; PREPARE YE THE WAY of the people, cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

As you have stated, Paul was talking to the Romans. However, today's churches teach that Paul is talking to today's church goers.

The Bible teaches us, in John 15, a process that took place. God the husbandman, Jesus the Vine, his 11 disciples the Branches. And in Jn 17, continues by Jesus praying not only for his 11 disciples, but those(elected) who would believe their words. The process in full view.........

Picking and choosing to believe only parts of the Bible will continue to bring about other than what the Bible teaches & preaches. Man has always believed what he has been told about the Bible from "Scholars," who are simply men too. Had any of them read and believed what they read, not only would they not have enslaved men, but would have rather became servants of mankind themselves.

KJV: Gen 25:7>And these are the days of the years of Abraham's life which he lived, an hundred threescore and fifteen years. :8>Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people. :9>And HIS SONS Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre; :11>And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed HIS SON Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the wel Lahairoi.

feralpuppies wrote: Abrahams' wife was also his half-sister. He was afraid he might be killed to get his wife. Abraham was deceitful.

This situation began my intense study into searching the scriptures. I had heard what you have stated, over and over, that Abraham had lied, was deceitful, if you will, when he said, " she is my sister." After my study of scriptures, I found that Abraham did not lie, but he prophesied what would come to pass, because Abraham was a prophet!

    see Gen 20:7* tru 13><

also see my blogster post dated 12/06, "She is my sister."

Your focus violates scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6, "Lean Not"

From the beginning God has said that every imagination of the thoughts of man's heart was only evil continually, quoted fm Gen 6. see Gen 11:5.

Your focus should be on what IS WRITTEN, and not on what you imagine!! That is if you are what you say you are, a Christian, which makes one a believer in God's Word.

Isa 55:7>Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his THOUGHTS: and let him return unto the Lord and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. :8 for My THOUGHTS ARE NOT your THOUGHTS, neither are your WAYS MY WAYS, saith the Lord.

Off topic: Do you teach and believe that Abraham lied when he said, "She Is My Sister," Gen 12:13, 19?

Of the scriptures I have listed highlighting the word Begotten, none say what you have said. Where do get your information?

Getting to heaven is not measured by being good enough or deserving enough. It is based on if you believe his words or not. We have all heard his words, but all that heard did not believe, which comes with consequences, as well as benefits for those who believe.

Someone has told you some things of which you have believed, which makes you believe that you aren't good enough, which is not God's message. He tells us that we can get there from where we are if we will believe that he is who he says he is and sent Jesus to pass the word.

If you don't read or have read and don't believe the Bible, then there is nothing for you from God for good, because you have to believe that he is who he says he is, otherwise, unbelief comes with it's own consequences/and/or/penalties.

the Bible gives everyone a choice, believe or not to believe. What's your choice? Whatever you do, don't count on man to give you all of the right answers and not to look to what is written verses what is not written, which is what you hear most.

!. There is not a sinners prayer as taught

    2. Jesus is not God

    3. there is not a rapture

    4. Trinity, The Bible never speaks of it, but man does!

    5. The Bible directs everyone not to put their trust in man, but trust in God's written word. In today's churches, the Bible has been added to, in order to accommadate their belief system and creed.

Note: unless you are willing to receive the written word as a child, contrite in spirit and humble, you will never know the truth of the Bible!
